Welcome to the Biochemistry Program


The Biochemistry Bachelors of Science program is a joint effort between the Departments of Biological Sciences and Chemistry. This program is accomplished through 14 core courses including: Molecular Biology, Biophysical Chemistry, Biochemistry, and Biochemistry Laboratory. Biochemistry is primarily a laboratory science. The curriculum emphasizes modern laboratory techniques as well as encouraging students to participate in Biochemical independent laboratory research.

With the Binghamton University Bachelors Degree in Biochemistry, students will be prepared for an array of future possibilities from laboratory research to graduate or medical school.
